26 January at 13:30 according to Moscow time Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Italian entrepreneurs in online format.
One of the main promoters of this important event was the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce. For the common good, the two countries have maintained good relations even in the midst of the crisis.
Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow is a reliable partner for the supply of energy to Italy. Italian companies are receiving Russian gas at lower than market prices thanks to long-term contracts with Gasprom.
The main task of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of developing commercial and economic relations between the two countries, to promote the activities of Italian entrepreneurs in Russia. The focus is on cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, finance and ecology.
